NEW DELHI: Former England captain Michael Vaughan took to social media to laud Ravindra Jadeja for his stellar all-round performance in the ongoing first Test between India and England in Hyderabad.
Jadeja played a crucial role in both batting and bowling, taking three wickets for 88 runs in England’s first innings and contributing with a gritty half-century before being dismissed for 87.
Vaughan expressed his admiration for Jadeja, stating, “He has to be the best allrounder in the world at the moment @imjadeja.”

Jadeja’s all-round efforts helped India gain a significant advantage in the Test. India took a 190-run first innings lead in the match.
Ollie Pope‘s brilliant century was a standout performance for England in the second innings as they temporarily resisted India’s push for victory.

In the first innings, India posted a total of 436, after bowling England out for 246. Jadeja’s valuable contributions with both bat and ball showcased his prowess as an all-rounder.
